Parkinson's disease: a review of the medical and optometric aspects

Parkinson's disease is relatively common in the elderly patients of optometrists. The general medical and ocular signs, symptoms and management of the disease are reviewed. Suggestions are made to improve the ocular examination and subsequent management of the special eye problems which these patients experience.
