Protective effects of the oil from spores of Ganoderma lucidum on carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatic injury in mice

OBJECTIVE To investigate the protective effects of the oil from spores of Ganoderma lucidum（OSCGL） on carbon tetrachloride（CCl4）-induced hepatic injury in mice.METHODS18～22g of mice of Kunming species were randomly divided into the control,model,and small,middle and large dosage of OSCGL（1.00,0.33,0.17g/kg BW） groups.Mice of each group were administrated by gastric gavage of OSCGL for two weeks.At 14 days,model and OSCGL groups were injected in peritoneal cavity with 0.125% of CCl4（0.0lmL/g）,and the control group was injected with the same volume of corn oil.After 4h of injection,the mice were administrated by gastric gavage normally,and after 24h,the mice were sacrificed and performed autopsy to tate out of livers,and activity of AST and ALT in liver were detected 24h after gavage.RESULTSThe activity of AST and ALT were significantly lower in model group than in control group（P0.01）,and were significantly higher in small,middle and large dosage of OSCGL than in model group（P0.05,P0.01）.CONCLUSIONThe OSCGL has the protective effects on CCl4-induced hepatic injury in mice.
