关于中医药学科有关英文名词翻译的商榷

中国文化色彩浓厚的中医药学科词汇一直是学术翻译的难点,以往的做法多采用意译法.然而这种翻译方法往往采用多个英语单词甚至一个句子来表示一个中医药学科词汇,很大程度上不利于学术翻译和学术交流.本文以中医药学的英文翻译Traditional clainese Medicine(TCM)一词入手,探讨中医药学科词汇以及相关词汇的翻译方法,并提出一种采用英语构词法的方式进行翻译.
