A CLINICOPATHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF 22 CASES OF MULTIPLE MALIGNANT TUMORS

To get a better understanding of the l ocation,pathophysiology,etiology and prognosis of multiple malignan t tumors(MPMT ),we evaluated the medical records of22patients with MPMT.Our results su ggested that radiothera-py and chemotherapy might play an imp ortant role in the pathogenesis of MP MT and follow-up is important in dete ct-ing a secondary primary malignant tu mor(PMT )at an early stage.Surgical removal o f tumors is the first-choice therapy for MPMT.
