颌骨囊肿和肿瘤:X线、CT诊断方法比较

目的:探讨颌骨囊肿、肿瘤在不同影像检查方法的表现,比较不同检查方法的诊断价值及其在临床应用中的意义。方法:回顾分析共40例(43个)经病理证实的颌骨囊肿和肿瘤的影像资料,40例同时做X线、CT检查。所有病例的影像学特点和诊断价值均被分析比较。结果:X线显示病变与牙齿关系较CT优越。CT显示病变边界、病变与骨密质、周围软组织关系较X线优越(P<0.01),显示病变与下颌神经管关系方面,与X线价值相当(P>0.05)。结论:X线对于显示病变范围和边界价值有限。病变与周围牙齿关系X线显示最佳。CT可清晰显示病变的范围、骨质破坏和钙化。

Cysts and tumors of the jaws:a comparative study of X-ray and CT

Objective: To evaluate the clinical and radiological features of cysts and tumors of the jaws with particular references to the effectiveness of different radiographic modalities. Methods: A total of 40 patients(43 lesions) were pathologically proved to have tumors and cysts in the jaws. Panoramic radiography(or A-P skull radiography) and CT were performed in all cases. All imaging data and evaluation value were compared and analysed based on the same principle. Results: X-ray is superior to CT in determination of its relation with adjacent vital teeth. CT was superior to X-ray in the evaluation of lesion margin and its relationship with cortical bone and soft tissues(P<0.01). Conclusion: The value of plain film radiography(PFR) was limited in accurately displaying the margin and extension of lesion, but PFR was very accurate in determining the condition of teeth. CT can accurately display the location and characteristic findings of lesions of jaws and play an important role in diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
