Clinical Research Progress of radiofrequency Ablation recurrence of Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia in the world, which is closely related to hospitalization. The incidence of atrial fibrillation is increasing year by year, and the economic burden of AF-related health care system is also increasing. The medical cost was significantly reduced after radiofrequency ablation of (AFRA) with AF. In recent years, it has become an effective method to replace drugs in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. Although radiofrequency ablation has completely changed the management of atrial fibrillation, the recurrence rate is a great disadvantage. Successful identification of risk factors for recurrence is critical to the elimination of atrial fibrillation. However, the causes of frequent recurrence have not been clarified so far. This article will review the clinical factors affecting the recurrence of atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation, in order to identify the risk factors affecting the recurrence of atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation, so as to help doctors to better select patients with higher success rate.
