择期腹部中等手术预防性应用抗生素的前瞻性临床研究

本文报告一组择期腹部中等手术的抗生素预防性应用研究结果。60例病人随机分入三组,三组病人性别、年龄、手术类型及时间均无明显差异。所用抗生素为庆大霉素和甲硝唑,A组仅手术日应用,B组手术日及术后第一日应用,C组手术日及术后1-4日连续应用。三组治疗结果相似,均顺利康复,无感染性并发症发生。结果表明腹部中等手术围手术期短程应用抗生素即可达到预防感染的目的,过多过久地应用抗生素实无必要。

Preventive Administration of Antibiotics in Abdominal Operations

Preventive administration of antibiotics in 60pa-tients with moderate abdominal operations was pres-ented. The patients were divided randomly into threegroups with similar sex ratio, age, operation typeand duration, Gentamycin and metronidazole wereadministrated only in the operation day in Group A,in the operation day and the Ist postoperative day inGroup B, and in the operation day and the Ist to 4th postoperative day in Group C. Similar results werefound in the three groups, no septic complication de-veloped. The data indicate that short course ofperioperative antibiotic administration is efficient forinfection prevention in moderate abdminaloperations, more and longer usage of antibilotics isunnecessary.
