| Abstract: | Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and exercise endurance of Xuebijing injection in adjuvant therapy of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD),and its effect on serum inflammatory mediators and cellular immune function.Methods A total of 192 cases of AECOPD treated during June 2016 and June 2020 were divided into observation group and control group according to different treatment methods(n=96 in each group).The control group was given routine treatment with AECOPD,and the observation group was treated with Xuebijing injection on the basis of treatment for control group.The clinical efficacy,the changes of arterial blood gas level,exercise endurance,serum inflammatory mediators and cellular immune function before and after treatment,as well as incidence rate of adverse reactions during treatment were observed and compared in two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group(94.79%)was significantly higher than 79.17%in control group(P<0.01).After treatment,the arterial blood gas level,activity endurance,serum inflammatory mediators and cellular immune function were significantly improved in both groups,and the indicators were significantly better in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).No serious adverse reactions were found in both groups during the treatment.Conclusion Clinical application of Xuebijing injection in adjuvant therapy of AECOPD patients may not only improve the clinical efficacy,but also improve the patient's exercise endurance,reduce the level of serum inflammatory mediators,and improve the cellular immune function with better safety. |
