Abstract:With the acceleration of the population aging process, the incidence rate of cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD) is increasing. Different aspects of symptoms seriously reduce the patient’s quality of life. Diffusion tensor imaging(DTI) is a newly developed imaging technique that can reflect the microstructure of white matter fibers non-invasively. In recent years, many studies of CSVD have explored its application in early diagnosis, prediction, treatment and so on. This article reviews the research status and development trend of DTI technology in CSVD.
