| Abstract: | Automated perimetry is an essential diagnos is tool and the long-term follow up index for the patients with glaucoma.However ,when cataracts develop in those patients who already have visual field defects ,it is necessary to differentiate the perimetric attenuation resulting from the cataract from that resulting from glaucomatous field progression.The effect of cataracts on automated perimetry and the resolution to this problem are discuss ed. |
