| Abstract: | From the leaves of MELODINUS ACUTIFLORUS a new alkaloid, rhazicine N-oxide ( 2), and two known compounds, deacetylakuammiline ( 3) and 16- EPI-rhazinaline ( 4) were isolated. The structure of 2 was determined by spectral analysis and chemical correlation with rhazicine ( 1). |
