血管内皮生长因子和细胞黏附分子1在非小细胞肺癌组织中的表达

摘    要:
目的 探讨血管内皮生长因子和细胞黏附分子 1在非小细胞肺癌组织中的表达及与非小细胞肺癌侵袭转移和预后的关系。方法 采用免疫组织化学方法检测 86例非小细胞肺癌患者癌组织中血管内皮生长因子和细胞黏附分子 1的表达水平,并结合术后病理分型、病理分期和随访资料进行分析。结果 (1)鳞癌与腺癌患者间血管内皮生长因子与细胞粘附分子 1表达阳性率差异无统计学意义;Ⅰ、Ⅱ期患者间表达阳性率差异有统计学意义 [分别为 47% ( 16 /34 )与 73% ( 30 /41 ),59% (20 /34)与 29% (12 /41),P<0. 05, 0. 01]。(2)淋巴结转移者血管内皮生长因子表达阳性率高于淋巴结无转移者[78% (39 /50)与 47% (17 /36),χ2 =8. 73,P<0. 01],细胞黏附分子 1表达阳性率低于淋巴结无转移者[24% (12 /50)与 56% (20 /36),χ2 =8 92,P<0. 01];术后转移者血管内皮生长因子表达阳性率高于无转移者[90% (38 /42)与 41% (18 /44),χ2 =23 24,P<0 .01],细胞黏附分子 1的表达阳性率低于无转移者[ 21% ( 9 /42 )与 52% ( 23 /44 ),χ2 =8 75,P<0. 01];血管内皮生长因子表达阳性者的 5年生存率低于阴性者(7% 与 57 %,χ2 =28. 47,P<0. 01),细胞黏附分子 1表达阳性者的 5年生存率高于阴性者(53%与 11%,χ2 =24 98,P<0 .01)。(3)血管内皮

Abstract:
Objective To investigate th e expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and intercellular adhesi on molecule-1(ICAM-1), and their relationship to behaviors of the non-small- cell lung cancer. Methods The study included 86 patients with non-small-cell lung cancer. A rapid immunohistochemical method (streptoavidin-peroxidase, SP) was used to det ect VEGF and ICAM-1 expression. All patients were treated surgically and with out preoperative radio- or chemotherapy. Results The positive expression of VEGF was significantly correlated wit h the lymph node metastasis, TNM stage, prognosis and hematogenous tumor metasta sis positively, but ICAM-1 was negatively. For patients with positive expressi on of VEGF and negative expression of ICAM-1, the 5-year survival rate was the cowest in all patients. Conclusions The expression of VEGF and ICAM-1 correlates with the malignant beh avior of non-small-cell lung cancer. Examination of VEGF and ICAM-1 in non- small-cell lung cancer may help to evaluate its intensity of lymph node metasta sis, TNM stage and prognosis. VEGF and ICAM-1 may play an important role in t he development and metastasis of non-small-cell lung cancer.
