Abstract:
cases of epithelial tumors of ovary were assayed to observe the expression of p53 nm23 and PCNA by immunohistochemical LSAB staining method.The results showed that cystadenoma of ovary took the first place,borderline cystadenoma of ovary the second and benign cystadenoma the last in positive expression of p53,nm23 and PCNA.p53,nm23 and PCNA were associated with cell proliferation,however,p53 and PCNA had no relation with malignant degree,clinical stages and survival rate,but were related to the degree of tumor differentiation.nm23 (anti metastasis) gene could not be used as a prognostic factor by itself for ovarian tumor.
