The value of spiral CT plain scan and enhanced scan in differential diagnosis of pulmonary space occupying lesion

Objective To investigate the value of spiral CT plain scan and enhanced scan in differential diagnosis of pulmonary space occupying lesion.Methods 85 patients with pulmonary space occupying lesion who were admitted in our hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects.All the patients were examined by spiral CT plain scan and enhanced scan.The pathological examination was taken as the gold standard,and the CT value and diagnostic efficiency of spiral CT plain scan and enhanced scan were compared.Results There was no statistically significant difference in the CT value of CT plain scan in patients with inflammatory pseudotumor,pulmonary tuberculoma and lung cancer;there was statistically significant difference in the CT value of spiral CT enhanced scan in patients with inflammatory pseudotumor,pulmonary tuberculoma and lung cancer(P<0.05);there was statistically significant difference in the enhancement value of spiral CT in patients with inflammatory pseudotumor,pulmonary tuberculoma and lung cancer(P<0.05);the negative predictive value,positive predictive value,sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of spiral CT enhanced scan in differential diagnosis of pulmonary space occupying lesion were 86.49%,91.67%,89.80%,88.89%and 89.41%,respectively,which were higher than 63.16%,74.47%,71.43%,66.67%and 69.41%of spiral CT,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Spiral CT enhanced scan can effectively identify different pathological types of pulmonary space occupying lesion,and the sensitivity,specificity and accuracy were higher than spiral CT plain scan.
