Effect of Community Health Education Paths on Patients at High Risk of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Objective To understand the impact of community healh education pathways on disease awareness and heath behaviors of patients at high risk of Chronie Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD).Methods In November 2019,86 patients at high risk of COPD in the community were selected as the research objects by convenience sampling method and randomly divided into intervention group and control group,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was given regular health education in the community,and the intervention group carried out community health education path inter-vention research on this basis.Before the intervention,the intervention for 2 months,and the intervention for 6 months,the changes in disease awareness and health behavior of the two groups at high risk of COPD were evaluated.Results The re-sults of mixed linear model analysis showed that the between-group efcts,within group efcts and interaction effects of disease cognition and health behavior total scores were statistically significant(P<0.01).The results of the comparison between the groups of the intervention for 6 months showed that the differences between the two groups of disease cogni-tion,health behavior total scores and scores of each dimension were statistically sigificant(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclu-sions The intervention of community health education for the patients at high risk of COPD is beneficial to improve the disease awareness and health behavior of the patients at high risk of COPD.In the future,we should continue to observe the effects of long term interventions in community health education pathways,and observe the changes in clinical indica-tors of patients at high risk of COPD.
