Expression of mirNA-27A in breast cancer and its predictive value of neoadjuvant chemotherapy efficacy

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of mirna-27 a in breast cancer tissues and the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Methods 100 breast cancer patients who went through breast surgery in Guizhou medical university affiliated hospital of were chosen as experimental group,40 patients with breast fibroadenoma were chosen as the control group, research object of surgical lesions was collected, real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(rt-pcr)determination of micrornas-27 a in different lesion group was used. To collect the clinicopathological data of breast cancer patients;Statistical analysis was performed to analyze the correlation between the expression of mirna-27 a and the efficacy of chemotherapy for breast cancer,as well as the correlation between the expression of mirna-27 a and the clinicopathological features of breast cancer tissues.Results the expression of mir-27 a in the breast fibroadenoma group was significantly higher than that in the breast cancer group.Further analysis of the breast cancer group showed that the expression of mir-27 a in the chemotherapy effective group was higher than that in the chemotherapy ineffective group.The relationship between mir-27 a expression and various clinicopathological characteristics of patients was statistically analyzed(P < 0.05).Patients with high mir-27 a expression had a higher pCR rate(P <0.05).Conclusion mir-27 a may be a cancer suppressor microRNA.mir-27 a can be used as molecular markers to predict the efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy in breast cancer patients;the expression of mir-27 a is related to the expression of estrogen receptor(ER)and progesterone receptor(PR)in breast cancer,and mir-27 a may be a molecular marker to predict the efficacy of endocrine therapy.
