Gorham disease: correlation of MR findings with histopathologic changes

Gorham disease is a rare disorder of unknown etiology characterized by bone destruction and abnormal proliferation of thin-walled vascular channels including lymphatic capillaries. Starting monocentrically in a single bone, the angiomatous masses in this disease extend to adjacent bones and soft tissues without respecting articular barriers.
