SOX10在毛细胞型星形细胞瘤和室管膜肿瘤鉴别诊断中的应用

摘    要:
目的检测SOX10在毛细胞型星形细胞瘤(pilocytic astrocytoma,PA)/毛细胞黏液样星形细胞瘤(pilomyxoid astrocytoma,PMA)及室管膜肿瘤中的表达,并比较在不同WHO分级、年龄组及解剖部位的PA/PMA及室管膜肿瘤中SOX10的表达差异。方法采用免疫组化EnVision两步法检测52例PA,9例PMA及205例室管膜肿瘤中SOX10的表达。结果PA/PMA中,SOX10的阳性率为100%,且均为强阳性,在不同年龄组及解剖部位SOX10的表达差异无显著性(P均>0.05);室管膜肿瘤中,仅6%(12/205)SOX10呈阳性,不同WHO分级、年龄组及解剖部位的室管膜肿瘤中SOX10表达差异无显著性(P均>0.05)。SOX10在PA/PMA与室管膜肿瘤中的阳性率差异有显著性(P<0.05)。结论SOX10选择性高表达于PA/PMA,对其诊断及与室管膜肿瘤的鉴别诊断具有重要意义。

Abstract:
Purpose To study SOX10 expression in pilocytic astrocytoma (PA), pilomyxoid astrocytoma (PMA) and ependymal tumours, and to compare its expression difference in PA/PMA and ependymal tumours with different grade, age and anatomic site. Method Immunohistochemical EnVision method was uesed to detect the expression of SOX10 in 52 cases of PA, 9 cases of PMA and 205 cases of ependymal tumours. Result In PA/PMA, the positive rate of SOX10 expression was 100%, and all of them were strongly positive. There was no significant difference in the expression of SOX10 among different age and anatomic site( P >0.05). In ependymal tumours, only 6%(12/205) of ependymal tumours were immunopositive for SOX10. No significant difference in SOX10 expression was observed within groups of different grade, age and anatomic site( P >0.05). The percentage of SOX10 expression showed significant difference between PA/PMA and ependymal tumours ( P <0.05). Conclusion Selective high expression of SOX10 in PA/PMA may be useful for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of PA/PMA.
