| Abstract: | Tibiofibular injury combined with tibiofibular interosseous membrane and high fibular injury may lead to ankle instability in Maisonneuve fracture (MEF),which requires surgical treatment.However,difficult operation and poor reduction will lead to ankle dysfunction increasing the risk of traumatic ankle arthritis.Therefore,reasonable diagnosis and treatment of tibiofibular injury will both promote rapid recovery and reduce complications.This paper introduces the anatomical structure,injury mechanism,current diagnosis,treatment and postoperative rehabilitation to discuss the reasonable diagnosis and treatment of tibiofibular injury in MEF. |
