Abstract: | Abstract. Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), or Lyells syndrome, isa fulminant bullous dermatitis. TEN is often a drug-inducedreaction and virtually any drug class appears capable ofprovoking it. We report here a case of TEN after administrationof ciprofloxacin. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) wassuspected as a possible etiologic or modifying cofactor in TENin this case. |
