中西医结合医学在中医药创新发展中的作用

几十年来的实践已经证明，中医药领域内的重大科学发现和重要的科研成果，无不与中西医结合密切相关，中西医结合医学在很大的程度上促进了中医药学的进步和发展。中西医结合医学是以中医药学的存在为基础，没有中医药学，也就不可能有中西医结合医学。中医药学的发展、创新需要科学、适用的方法学以及先进的科学技术手段。现代医学研究方法应当有其普适性，借鉴西医的研究方法和研究模式有可能是现阶段中医药研究的一个捷径，但还应考虑中医药学的特点和自身规律。临床是中医药研究的基础，也是中医药发展、创新的根本所在。

The Role of Integrative Medicine in the Innovation and Development of Chinese Medicine

Integrative medicine （IM） has promoted the development of Chinese medicine （CM） greatly, which has been proved in last decades, most of the important scientific discoveries and achievements in the fields of CM were closely related to IM. As the basis of IM, CM is the prerequisite for the existence of IM. The development and innovation of CM needs scientific and applicable methods and advanced techniques. Applying the methodology from conventional medicine, which should be universal in the medical fields, would be a short cut in the research of CM at present, but the trait and rule of CM shonld be considered. Clinical practice is the root of development and innovation, and the basis of basical research of CM as well.
