中国部分农村地区5岁以下儿童喂养状况调查

目的 评估当地儿童喂养状况以及喂养相关资源利用情况,找出问题,并提出建议.方法 于2006年11月采用参与式农村评估定性研究方法,在5个省市随机选择了20个村进行调查,对187名母亲及其5岁以下的儿童进行了喂养评估.结果 这些地区儿童母乳喂养率:0～6个月为73.68%,6～12个月为57.69%,12～24个月为39.13%;6个月以上儿童辅食撮入量不足率为61.31%.结论 农村地区在母乳喂养和辅食添加方面存在较多问题,喂养知识和喂养技术有待提高.参与式农村评估方法可在搜集信息的同时,提高参与人群的儿童喂养认知水平.

A survey on feeding situation of children under 5 years old in rural areas of China

Objective To assess situation of child feeding and utilization of feeding related resources in rural areas of China,and then to propose suggestions for the problems found.Methods 20 villages from 5 provinces were selected randomly for survey in November 2006.The qualitative method of PRA(participatory rural appraisal) was used to assess the feeding patterns.Totally 187 mothers and their children under 5 years old were selected randomly.Results The rates of breastfeeding of children in the 0~6 months infant group,the 6~12 months infant group,the 12~24 months children group were 73.68%,57.69%,39.13% respectively.The rate of inadequate amount of complementary foods in those children aged above 6 months was 61.31%.Conclusion Problems in breastfeeding and complementary feeding remained in rural areas and child feeding knowledge and skill of local people needed to be improved.PRA is an effective method to raise participants' feeding knowledge while collecting information.
