Abstract: | Autoclaving is the absolute method of achieving instrument sterilization in any health care setting. However, it does rely on an effective pre-sterilization routine for instrument handling and the subsequent correct loading and operation of the autoclave. This paper addresses the issue of correct autoclave use, the causes of failures and the regular monitoring. |
