Abstract: | Endoscopic drainage has become the primary therapy for pancreatic pseudocysts. Diagnostic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) has added safety to the procedure and interventional EUS has broadened the indications to non‐bulging lesions. At the same time, more aggressive endoscopic treatment has also made it possible to treat infected pseudocysts and organized pancreatic necrosis. The indications and technique are reviewed in this paper. |
