Toll样受体在眼部各组织中的表达及其作用

Toll样受体是新近发现的一类广泛存在于植物、昆虫和哺乳动物体内的与跨膜信号转导有关的受体，在进化上具有高度保守性。研究揭示了其在机体免疫特别是抗感染免疫中有重要作用。越来越多的研究已经发现人眼角膜细胞、巩膜、结膜、葡萄膜、视网膜、虹膜内皮细胞、睫状体等都能表达Toll样受体，而且与眼部的免疫和炎症反应密切相关。Toll样受体的发现为深入研究眼部感染性疾病的发病机制及临床治疗开辟了更为广阔前景。

Expression and function of Toll-like receptors in eye

The Toll-like receptors(TLRs),which widely exist in plants,insects and mammals,are transmembrane signal transduction receptors and are highly conservative.TLRs play critical roles in innate immunity.More researches on the expression of TLRs in cell and organizes of eye have been carried out,such as human corneal cell,sclera,conjunctiva,uvea,retina,iris endothelial cells and ciliary body.There is close correlation between the discovery of the TLRs in eye and ocular immue response and inflammation.This may provide invaluable opportunity for our understanding the mechanism of ocular infective diseases and clinical treatments.Achievements in this field are reviewed.
