| Abstract: | Abstract A brain abscess due to Pseudomonas pseudomallei is presented. Central nervous system involvement in melioidosis is rare and generally occurs in association with disseminated infection. The importance of early diagnosis and prompt treatment with prolonged antibiotic therapy is emphasised. |
