Observation on the Effect of Acupoint Application Combined with Abdominal Massage on Preventing Constipation after Thoracolumbar Compression Fracture

Objective To analyze the effect of acupoint application combined with abdominal massage on preventing constipation after thoracolumbar compression fracture.Methods 60 patients with thoracolumbar compression fractures admitted to our hospital from July 2018 to August 2019 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into control group(30 cases)and observation group(30 cases)according to the principle of random number table method.The control group was given acupoint application,while the observation group was combined with abdominal massage on the basis of the control group.Results after intervention,the total effective rate of the observation group was much higher than that of the control group(96.67%>,66.67%),and the difference between the two was significant(P<0.05).In addition,compared with the control group(10.00%>56.67%),the adverse reaction rate of the observation group was significantly superior,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion acupoint application combined with abdominal massage can effectively prevent constipation in patients with thoracolumbar compression fracture.
