Abstract:Objective To establish a method for the determination of acesulfame,benzoic acid,saccharin sodium,sorbic acid and caffeine in milk tea by methanol precipitation-ultra performance liquid chromatography( UPLC). Methods The sample was vortex mixing extracted with methanol,then centrifuged,the supernatant was analyzed after filtration with 0. 22 μm filter membrane by UPLC. UPLC analysis was performed on an Agilent Poroshell 120 EC-C18 column( 3 mm × 150 mm,2. 7 μm).A gradient program was used with mobile phase consisting of 0. 02 mol/L ammonium acetate and methanol for gradient elution,the flow rate was 1. 0 ml/min and the column temperature was maintained at 35 ℃ . The target compounds were confirmed by photo-diode array detection at 240 nm. Results The method had a good linearity within 1. 0 μg/ml-50. 0 μg/ml,with the correlative coefficient( r) > 0. 999 9,the limits of the detection were within 0. 002 g/kg-0. 005 g/kg,and the limits of quantification were within 0. 006 g/kg-0. 015 g/kg. The recoveries of beverages at low,medium and high levels were within93. 36%-104. 5%,with the relative standard deviations( RSDs) of 1. 0%-3. 4%. Conclusion The method has the advantages of simple sample pretreatment,good separation effect and high accuracy. It is suitable for the determination of acesulfame,benzoic acid,saccharin sodium,sorbic acid and caffeine in milk tea.
