3172个根管充填质量的临床评价

目的　通过数字化X线图像 ,分析武汉大学口腔医学院牙体牙髓科临床医师和进修医师根管充填的质量及继续教育的效果。方法　将 6名长期从事临床教学的临床医师 (A组 )和 8名进修医师 (B组 )分为两组 ,这两组医师在 2 0 0 3年 4～ 9月间随机完成根管治疗 2 0 4 3颗牙 ( 3172个根管 ) ,对两组根管充填质量进行分析和比较。结果　患牙根管治疗总体适充率为 4 9 6 % ,A组患牙和根管适充率分别为 5 9 9%和 6 3 9% ,明显高于B组的 4 0 1%和 4 7 4 % ,差异有显著性 (P <0 0 0 1)。B组前 2个月根管适充率为 4 0 0 % ,后 2个月提高为 5 7 8% ,差异有显著性 (P <0 0 0 1) ,且后 2个月根管适充率在前磨牙和磨牙与A组接近 ,差异无显著性 (P >0 0 5 )。结论　A组根管充填质量较好 ;B组在半年内根管充填质量有显著提高

Radiographic evaluation of the quality of root canal filling in a dental teaching hospital

Objective To evaluate the quality of root canal filling performed by dentists and advanced dental trainees(ADTs) and the current level of continuing education in a dental teaching hospital.Methods 2 043 cases, randomly completed by six dentists and eight ADTs over half a year, were divided into two groups. The quality of root canal filling was analyzed radiographically. Results The overall percentage of the adequate root filling was 49 6%. The percentages of the adequate teeth filling and root canals filling(59 9%;63 9%)by dentists were significantly higher than those (40 1%;47 4%) by ADTs. In addition, the frequency of the adequate root canals filling by ADTs in the last two months (57 8%) was significantly higher than that in the first two months (40 0%), and the adequate filling rate by ADTs during the last two months was close to that by dentists. Conclusions The quality of root canal filling performed by dentists was adequate. There was a substantial improvement for ADTs in filling quality after six months training.
