| Abstract: | To study the relationship between the TGF-β subtypes and lung carcinoma. Methods:The expressions of TGF-β1 and TGF-β2 were examined in surgical specimens of 84 patients with lung carcinoma by SABC immunohistochemistry. Results:The expressions of TGF-β1 and TGF-β2 were significantly higher in lung carcinoma than those in normal lung tissue, and increased in advanced disease. Conclusion:The expressions of TGF-β1 and TGF-β2 were positively related to the development of lung carcinoma. |
