漫谈风药

风药是一类具有风木属性的药物,其性升发、宣散、调达,有治风、升阳、除湿、行气滞、散火郁、布津液、解痉、调血、增效、引经等诸多功效,故广泛应用于临床各个学科。虽然风药应用甚广,但也有辛燥伤阴耗阳等弊端,临床应用时切不可随意滥用,尚需注意风药的一些禁忌:(1)风药多辛燥伤阴,阴液亏损者当慎用,若用当佐以滋阴之品;(2)风药升提阳气,肾虚不能纳气者慎用;(3)风药辛散走窜,开泄腠理,发汗伤阳,阳虚者慎用;(4)病去勿再服,以诸风之药,损人元气而益其病故也。

Wind medicinal are a kind of medicine with wind and wood properties.They have ascending,dispersing,and regulating natures,can eliminate wind,invigorate splenic yang,remove dampness,improve qi stagnation,disperse heat stagnation,distribute body fluid,remove spasm,regulate blood circulation,increase efficiency,and guide drugs,so they are widely used in each department of clinical practice.However,they have their own shortcomings,for example,pungent and dry nature may hurt yin and consume yang,so they must not be arbitrarily abused in clinical application.The following contraindications should be paid attention to:① Their pungent and dry nature may hurt yin,so people with deficient yin should use them with caution;If they must be used,drugs with nourishing yin function should be combined together.②Wind medicinal can invigorate splenic yang,so people with deficient kidney failing to absorb qi should use them with caution.③Wind medicinals' pungent taste can disperse qi,open striae,lead to sweating hurting yang,so people with deficient yang should use them with caution.④If a patient has recovered from disease,stop using them immediately,because wind medicinals hurt human promordial qi but are good to diseases.
