海藻玉壶汤治疗声带息肉探析

Exploration of Haizao Yuhu Decoction for the Treatment of Polyps of Vocal Cord

Nowadays,the treatment of polyps of vocal cord mostly follows the theory of "hoarseness due to lung dysfunction" but the therapeutic effect is not satisfactory.The core pathogenesis of polyps of vocal cord is "intermingling of phlegm and blood stasis".The occurrence and development is closely related to the spleen.The major therapeutic method should be strengthening the lung and resolving phlegm,eliminting blood stasis and dispersing stagnation.The syndromes of phlegm and turbidity accumualtion (due to spleen deficiency),intermingling of phlegm and blood stasis,and qi stagnation and blood stasis are most commonly -seen in polyps of vocal cord.Haizao Yuhu Decoction is a good formula for resolving stagnnation and masses and has excellent effect of resolving blood stasis and activating blood,applicable to various lumps and masses due to phlegm coagulation and qi stagnation.Modified Haizao Yuhu Decoction can be applied to treat polyps of vocal cord complicated with different syndromes of phlegm,blood stasis and deficiency.
