The application of sol-gel technique in improving the surface function of commonly used oral cast alloy and its comparative studies with other coating techniques

The sol-gel technique has become a well-developed coating preparation method in recent years, which has more superiorities than other coating techniques. The laboratory studies of the application of sol-gel technique in prosthodontics are increasing with the extensive usage of oral cast alloy. This paper is concerned with the application of sol-gel technique in commonly used oral cast alloy.
