Regional ileitis

A brief review of regional ileitis, covering incidence, etiology, pathology, symptomatology and diagnosis is presented.Treatment and management is stressed calling attention to the conservative, short-circuiting and more radical surgical measures of resection.The case of a seventy-eight year old male is reported (probably a report of the oldest patient on record).
