Comparative Analysis of the Specific Value of Routine Tests and Biochemical Tests in the Diagnosis of Diabetic Patients

Objective To compare and analyze the important diagnostic value of two methods,routine tests and biochemical tests,for diabetic patients.Methods A selection of 100 patients with type 2 diabetes who were admitted from October 2018 to October 2020 were randomly divided into the control group and the study group,with 50 cases each.The patients in the control group were given a routine urine test,and the patients in the study group were given a blood biochemical test.Compared of diagnostic accuracy,missed diagnosis rate,specificity,and sensitivity between groups.Results The diagnosis accuracy rate of the study group was 98.00%(49/50),which was higher than 84.00%(42/50)of the control group(χ²=4.396,P<0.05);the missed diagnosis rate of the study group was 2.00%(1/50),which was lower than 16.00%(8/50)of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.396,P=0.036<0.05).The sensitivity of the biochemical test was 98.00%and the specificity was 84%;the sensitivity of the conventional test was 84.00%,and the specificity was 16.00%.The specificity and sensitivity of the biochemical test were higher than that of the conventional test.Conclusion Compared with routine urine tests,blood biochemical tests have higher accuracy,sensitivity,and specificity in the diagnosis of diabetes,and its clinical value is more significant.
