Efficacy Analysis of Alogliptin Combined with Metformin in the Treatment of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Objective To analyze the curative effect of alogliptin combined with metformin in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods 104 patients with type 2 diabetes received in the hospital from January 2019 to April 2020 were used for the experiment,and the patients were divided into two groups according to the drugs used,with the number of cases each being 52 cases(control group and study group).The patients in the control group were treated with acarbose and metformin,and the patients in the study group were treated with alogliptin and metformin.The treatment efficiency,blood sugar level and minor adverse reactions of the two groups of patients were observed and analyzed.Results The effective rate of treatment and the incidence of hypoglycemia in the study group was 98.08%,and the effective rate of treatment and the incidence of hypoglycemia in the control group was 86.54%,The difference between the two groups was significant and statistically significant(P<0.05),but in terms of the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions,there was no statistically significant difference between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of type 2 diabetic patients with alogliptin combined with metformin can improve the effective treatment rate of patients and reduce minor gastrointestinal adverse reactions and hypoglycemia.
