Analysis of Clinical Application Value of Dexmedetomidine in General Anesthesia in Type 2 Diabetic Patients

Objective To observe and analyze the clinical application value of dexmedetomidine for general anesthesia in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods A total of 82 patients with type 2 diabetes who needed general anesthesia and were admitted to the hospital from May 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects,and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group,and preoperative preparations And the methods of guided anesthesia are consistent.On this basis,patients in the control group maintained anesthesia by pumping normal saline,and most patients were observed to be pumped with dexmedetomidine to maintain anesthesia.Statistics of the two groups of patients'blood fluidity levels at different times,blood glucose at different times after surgery,and the occurrence of intraoperative adverse reactions.Results 1.Comparison of the 3 indexes of MAP,SPO2 and HR,the average indexes of patients in the observation group at the time of intubation,5 min after operation,time of extubation,and 10 min after extubation were significantly better than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);2.The average blood glucose levels of the observation group were(5.34±0.45)mmol/L,(6.76±0.51)mmol/L,(8.36±0.68)mmol/L,which were significantly lower than the control group(7.82±0.59)mmol/L,(9.04±0.64)mmol/L,(11.47±1.22)mmol/L,the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05);3.Observation group only 1 patient had nausea after operation,and 8 cases of adverse reactions including pain,nausea and vomiting occurred in the control group.The total incidence was 19.51%,and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(χ²=4.493,P<0.05).Conclusion In general anesthesia for type 2 diabetic patients,using dexmedetomidine as an anesthesia maintenance drug not only has a significant anesthetic effect,but also has the effect of preventing the patient's intraoperative blood glucose increase,which is worthy of wide application.
