中医学在创新中求发展

创新是中医学发展的动力,中医不但需要继承,也需要创新,继承和创新是辩证的统一。创新只能以实践为判断标准,而不应设置禁区。理论创新是关键,需要解决过度依赖哲学和功能与结构不完全一致的两大难题。中医学必须借鉴所有学科知识为其发展之用。中医学是在发展中与现代学科体系逐步沟通,最终走向融合。这需要一个较长的历史时期才能完成,需要有更高层次理论的指导、人才的聚集和中医自身的有效发展等条件。

Traditional Chinese Medicine:Development through Innovation

Innovation is the impetus for the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine not only needs inheritance, but also innovation. The two are in unison. Innovation should have practice as its criterion and no forbidden zones should be set up. Theoretical innovation is the key to the innovation, and two main problems should be solved, namely, over-dependence on philosophy and inconsistence between function and structure. Traditional Chinese medicine should draw upon the knowledge of western medicine and all other sciences to develop itself. Traditional Chinese medicine should develop itself in such a way that it communicates with modern sciences and eventually merges itself with modern sciences. This will be a long historical period, which calls for theoretical guidance at a higher level, convergence of personnel and the effective development of traditional Chinese medicine itself.
