Implementation and effect of enhancing health education in emergency department

In order to enhance health education in emergency department, the authors regulated actual measures and encouragement system for health education in emergency department by linking health education to personal monthly quality evaluation and bonus. The 9-month implementation gained satisfactory effect: the level of health education was raised, the health knowledge and satisfaction degree were raised and the aim for future health education was specified. All the achievements indicated the implementation of health education and enhancement exits in the collaboration between the nurses and the administrators. Good measures and system are the promoter for the consistent, stable and effective implementation of health education.
