| Abstract: | "Difficult-to-treat chronic hepatitis B(CHB)" refers to a clinical situation in which patients fail or partially respond to antiviral therapy(nucleoside/nucleotide analogues and/or interferon) under the guidance of current guidelines and treatment proto-cols or caused due to non-standard antiviral treatment or verified by evidence-based studies.The extraction of the definition of "difficult-to-treat CHB" will facilitate standard antiviral treatment available for CHB patients,and proper and early treatment adjust-ment for those who fail or achieve limited treatment efficacy.Furthermore,it will promote personalized treatment,the studies of treat-ment protocols for CHB and interdisciplinary collaboration for the study of viral hepatitis B. |
