| Abstract: | We report a previously healthy young adult man presenting with generalized peritonitis secondary to a ruptured pseudoaneurysm of the left gastroepiploic artery. This extremely rare cause of haemoperitoneum was not considered in the differential diagnosis prior to operation, and might have had an infective aetiology. |
