本文从理论上探讨了中国推拿学中常用推拿手法名英译的原则和方法;同时拟译出了常用推拿手法名。作者意在促进常用推拿手法名的英译标准化,进而推动整个中医名词英译标准化进程。

Studies on the English Translation of Commonly-used Nouns of Chinese Massage Manipulations

This paper discusses theorefically the translation criteria and translation methods of the commonly-used nouns of Chinese massage manipulations; simultaneously the author gives the English equivalents of these nouns. The author intends to promote the standardization of English translation of commonly-used nouns of Chinese massage manipulations and the further standardization of the terminology of traditional Chinese medicine.
