Effect of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine fumigation on radial nerve injury in patients with postoperative fracture of middle and upper radius

Objective To investigate and analyze the effect of Duhuo Jingsheng Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in the treatment of radial nerve injury after middle and upper radius fractures. Methods 122 patients were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,of which the radial nerve injury after middle and upper radius fractures admitted from February 2019 to October 2020.The control group was given conventional Western medicine treatment,and the observation group was given Duhuo Jingsheng Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment.These two groups were compared with the recovery of radial nerve function,electromyogram detection indexes and nerve conduction velocity before and after treatment. Results The rate of recovery of radial nerve function in the control group was 95.08% that in observation group was 83.61%.The recovery of radial nerve function in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in EMG test indexes before treatment(P＞0.05).The improvement of EMG indexes in the observation group was better than that of the control group.There was no significant difference in radial nerve conduction velocity before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the improvement of MCV,SCV,amplitudeand latency in the observation group was better than that of the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion Duhuo Jingsheng combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation for the treatment of radial nerve injury after middle and upper radial fractures can promote the recovery of radial nerve function,promote the movement and sensory conduction velocity of the radial nerve,and it is worthy of promotion.
