Abstract:
Objective To compare the difference and consistency of white to white(WTW),keratometry of flataxial(Kf) and keratometry of steepaxial(Ks) in cataract patients with IOL Master 700,OPD-Scan Ⅲ and MODi 2 corneal topographer.Methods A total of 54 patients (92 eyes) from Cataract and Intraocular Lens Center,No.4 Hospital of Xi'an during November to December 2019 were recruited.They were 17 males (28 eyes) and 37 females (64 eyes),with an average age of (52.83±15.00)years.Three instruments were used to measure WTW,Kf and Ks.One-way ANOVA analysis and LSD-t test were used to compare differences between instruments,and Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze instrument correlation and Bland-Altman method to evaluate the consistency of instruments.Results When the WTW,Kf and Ks values were measured by three instruments,only the WTW values of IOLMaster 700 and OPD-scan Ⅲ,OPD-scan Ⅲ and MODi 2 corneal topographer showed statistically significant differences(P<0.001),while the differences of the remaining measured values were not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the correlation analysis,the measured values of the three instruments all showed significant positive correlation,with the correlation coefficient r between 0.75~0.98.When Bland-Altman method was used to evaluate instrument consistency,the measured WTW,Kf,and Ks values at 95% of the consistency threshold were respectively (5.43%,6.52%,4.34%),(4.34%,4.34%,and 7.61%),and (5.43%,5.43%,and 7.61%) of IOLMaster 700 and OPD-scan Ⅲ,IOLMaster 700 and MODi 2 corneal topographer,and OPD-scan Ⅲ and MODi 2 corneal topographer.Conclusion There was no difference in Kf and Ks values measured by the three instruments,and there was no statistically significant difference in WTW value measured by IOLMaster 700 and MODi 2 corneal topographer.However,the differences of Kf,Ks and WTW measured by the three instruments were clinically significant difference and could not be used interchangeably.
