Predictive value of high frequency ultrasound,molybdenum target x-ray in the diagnosis of early stage breast cancer

Objective： To investigate the predictive value of high frequency ultrasound（HFUS）,molybdenum target x-ray in the diagnosis of early stage breast cancer.Methods： Ninety-seven patients with early stage breast cancer underwent HFUS and molybdenum target x-ray detection.The diagnosis results were compared with that of pathological examination.Results： The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy of HFUS,molybdenum target x-ray and the combination of two was 88.2%（15/17）、82.5%（66/80）,83.5（81/97） vs.70.6%（12/17）、78.8%（63/80）、77.3%（75/97） vs.94.1%（16/17）、93.8%（75/80）、93.8%（91/97）.The sensitivity and specificity of x-ray was higher than that of the HFUS but no significant difference was found（P0.05）,the accuracy of x-ray was significant higher than that of the HFUS（P0.05）.The combined use of the two methods showed higher sensitivity,specificity,accuracy than one method alone.Conclusion： High-frequency ultrasound combined with molybdenum target x-ray shows higher accuracy,specificity and sensitivity in detection of early stage breast cancer,which is of great clinical significance.
