| Abstract: | Bombesin is a 14 amino acid peptide and the receptors are overexpressed on many kinds of tumor cells,but rarely even hardly expressed in normal tissues.As a target point,bombesin plays an important rule in tumor treatment and diagnosis.In this review,the characteristics of bombesin and role in tumor diagnosis and treatment was described and also the summary of research progress was discussed. |
