Abstract:Objective To investigate an objective evaluation system of nursing performance management to boost nurses′ enthusiasm.Methods According to the key performance indicator and the SMART principal,we constructed the primary evaluation indexes by using literature review,face-to-face interview of directors of departments and nurses working in different posts,and experts consultation.And then two rounds of Delphi consultation were conducted.Results The evaluation system was composed of 3 first-level indexes(nursing quality,nursing quantity and nursing effect),8 level-2 indexes and 45 level-3 indexes.Conclusion The evaluation system can be used to evaluate nurses′job performance,which could be confirmed from reliable consultation results and reasonable indexes.
