Abstract: | ![]() Unresected hilar cholangiocarcinoma has a dismal prognosis, but advances in staging and surgical techniques have given well-selected patients a chance of long-term survival if curative resection is possible. This review summarizes the state of the art in diagnosis, treatment, and outcome for patients with biliary obstruction at the hilus of the liver. |
