| Abstract: | Differentiating the characteristics of for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals are the need of public finance in order to effectively administrate the hospitals based on the categories. The author illustrates the basic classification of hospital on economic characteristics, and put forward a serious of criteria, indicators and method to identify either for-profit or not-for-profit hospital. |
