高校职工甲状腺结节患病状况调查

摘要:目的　了解高校职工健康人群甲状腺结节的患病率。方法　对既往无甲状腺疾病的2 008名健康体检职工甲状腺相关检查结果进行分析调查。结果　2 008名职工中，男性960人，女性1 048人，检出甲状腺结节873人，总患病率43.5%，男性患病率39.6%，女性患病率47.0%，女性患病率高于男性，差异有统计学意义（χ2＝113.1，P＜0.05）。患病率随年龄增长而增加（χ2＝342.6，P＜0.05）；多发结节检出率高于单发结节；结节对甲状腺功能有一定影响（χ2＝10.9，P＜0.05）。结论　高校职工中甲状腺结节患病率较高，建议对甲状腺结节患者进行密切跟踪观察，把甲状腺超声检查及甲状腺功能检测列入常规健康体检项目。

Investigation of the Prevalence of Thyroid Nodules among University Staff

Abstract: Objective This work was to study the prevalence of thyroid nodules among the healthy university staff. Methods 2008 healthy university staff who do not have thyroid diseases history went through thyroid examinations and the results were analyzed. Results Among the 2008 university staff, 960 were male and 1048 were female. 873 staff suffered thyroid nodules and the prevalence rate was 43.5%. The prevalence among the male was 39.6%, and that among the female was 47%. The prevalence was higher for the female than the male and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=113.1, P<0.05). The prevalence increased with age (χ2=342.6, P<0.05); the detection rate of multiple nodules was higher than that of single nodules. The function of thyroid was affected by nodules (χ2=10.9, P<0.05). Conclusion The prevalence of thyroid nodules was high among university staff. Follow-up study should be conducted to patients with thyroid nodules. Thyroid ultrasonography and thyroid function test should be included in the routine health examination.
